I (heart) U 2

Wow...this layout has taken me soooo long to do (2 weeks, in between a whole lot of other normal life stuff). I started it 3 times, trying to get the messy background texture how I wanted it...I know right?!? Messy is messy, but my mess wasn't good enough.

Anyhow, I'm really happy with how it turned out.
I used stencils, texture paste, sprays, paints, chipboard shapes, charm creation embellie, cotton and various bits and pieces.
Now that this is cleared off my desk I have to catch up with my project life, and hopefully the next layout won't take as long.

Funky Monkey

I really wanted to join in with the whitewith1 blog this month as blues are my favourite colour. So in between the regular duties and trying to pack and get organised for our two week camping trip this is what I came up with....

I have used.... white bazzill and scrap papers, washi tape, KC chip shapes, Thickers, Charms Creations embellishments, Prima colour bloom spray, Dylusions ink spray, BG rub-ons, texture paste,  Greatest View flair and stamps.

Challenge Time

Nomes, Rach, C'rina and I all picked a scrapping supply that we had to include on our layout. The page had to include Cardstock, Buttons, Ribbon, Flowers, extra points if we used a doll stamp, and was to be finished by Friday at midnight. Got mine done on Monday, yep, five days early.

And just so you know, I hate buttons!

Friday Fun day

Yay for Fridays, my favourite day of the week! I managed to whip this layout together in between trips to the school for teacher/parent conferences and moving farm machinery around.

Put together using Heidi Swapp Paper (and some random scraps), and embellishments including Prima wooden heart and paperclip, Greatest View flair and Amy Tangerine and Heidi Swapp stickers.

snuggling

I created this layout and then realised that it fits the Scrap our Stash criteria, awesome. This is my favourite photo of our Easter holiday, the girls having some quiet time together, enjoying each others company.

The Scrap our Stash challenge was to use items on a page that started with the letters from EMBOSS.
I used....
E - Ephemera, Embellishments
M - Mini Doilies
B - Butterfly
O - October Afternoon Tin Pin
S - Stamps
S - Stencil

Roadtrip

I created this page to join in with the 'Scrap our Stash' Blog but then couldn't upload it due to internet issues....I am forever having internet issues. The photo was taken as a selfie on our way to Denmark for Easter. So much excitement in those small bodies

Cherish

I needed a bit of motivation to get this special photo scrapped, so headed on over to Stuck Sketches. The photo is my Mum and her very good friend Joyce, who have been friends since before I was born. You'll notice in my blogs that I don't use a lot of pastel colours so this was a challenge in itself, I find it much easier to work with brights.

I used white card stock, Glitz Design 'Carpe Diem' Patterned papers, Heidi Swapp embellishments, Prima color bloom sprays and a Greatest View button flair. (This page is much nicer IRL)
